We are an unaffiliated community-led synagogue in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
We strive to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere as well as a meaningful, inspiring, participatory prayer experience. We welcome Jews of all denominations and no denomination! We also welcome members of other faith communities and are actively involved in the interfaith community in Sudbury.
The style of leadership will depend on which of our members is leading the service but will always include all genders equally in both weekly and holiday services.
We are centrally located at 158 John St. near the Sudbury’s historic downtown and within walking distance of Ramsey Lake.

Siddur (Prayer Book)
We most often use the Mishkan T’Filah Siddur of the Reform movement, copies of which have been generously provided by donors. For the high holidays, we use the Lev Shalem Machzor of the Conservative Movement (including large print editions). We also have the Large Type Edition of the Weinberg Foundation Artscroll siddurim and machzorim available.
Kiddush and Holidays
Approximately once a month, a (dairy) Oneg Shabbat meal will be held following Friday night services. The services on these nights will be particularly oriented to families with children, featuring opportunities for young people to lead portions of the service. Details of these events will be featured in our weekly newsletter.
We hold services for all major holidays. Please e-mail us for details if you need more information or would like to be added to our mailing list: info@jewish-sudbury.com or find us on Facebook.
